This box was produced using just 1 piece of Bendywood®-walnut 2x100x320 mm,
without interruptions at the corners.

• With a circular saw that was inclined at 45 degrees, 3 notches were milled in the Bendywood®-part:
  • cutting angle of the saw teeth: 90 degrees
  • thickness of the saw teeth: 3 mm
  • profundity of the notch: 1,9 mm
• Subsequently, the part was bent by hand to a cubic form. It is important to slightly humidify the corners before bending them (using a moist cloth) and to bend slowly, in order to prevent the corners from breaking. Achieved bending radius = 1 mm!
• Finally, the ends of the bent part were glued together and the box was provided with 2 removable lids in normal walnut.
